Growing up in the sleepy little town of Madison, SD, Kari Dee Anderson was your typical small town girl. The youngest of three, Kari stayed active in sports, gymnastics and many outdoor activities. Being premature at birth, and A bit of a tomboy who often struggled with the usual torments of childhood, Kari chose to shift her focus and energy into her passion- Helping others.
As a natural athlete, Kari's love for herself grows as she excelled in swimming, dance and other challenging activities. Kari's love for fitness, health of body and mind, and the human condition have led her to her current profession- Registered Respiratory Therapist.
After graduating from Dakota State University with a degree as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Kari moved away from her friends’and family in South Dakota to beautiful Las Vegas, NV. Kari currently works in a hospital, but is always striving to do more for others and her community. Over the past few years, Kari has spent time volunteering with foundations that support and inspire children in a positive way. She loves to use her acting and modeling background to be a positive force in young adults who maybe struggling with the effects of bullying and stresses of school and home.
As Miss Clark County 2012, Kari is determined to encourage and embrace others through awareness and education of this nation's most pressing issues- bullying, by working with the Taylor Barton Foundation.
Another dream and passion of Kari's is to help create happy memories for siblings separated due to foster care through the Child Focus Foundation. Her drive and hope for a better tomorrow are what the children of this nation need... a spokesperson, role model and advocate like Kari Dee Anderson.
